Milta BV, a Belgian company with registered seat at Carnotstraat 58, 2060 Antwerpen, CBE 0708.928.557 (hereafter: “Milta”) cares about your privacy and processes personal data as a controller in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Counsil of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the process of personal data and on the free movement of data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC as available on: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:02016R0679-20160504&from=NL (hereafter: “GDPR”) and Belgian law.

This Privacy Policy sets out the major headlines on how Milta is dealing with personal data when you become a member: they only relate to the processing of personal data of natural persons.

This Policy may know future amendments and does not apply on products, services, websites or content that is offered by third parties.

Lawful processing

When you become a member of Milta, you conclude a contract with Milta and Milta will therefore be entitled to process your personal data in order to allow Milta to perform under this Membership.

When you visit our website(s) we may process personal data (like your IP address) but we will on beforehand ask for your consent: you can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting our privacy officer.

We may also process your data when you visit our website(s) based on our legitimate interest.

Processing of personal data

3.1. We may request certain personal data from you in order to register your Membership, such as the name and surname, telephone number and e-mail of the firm’s representative.

If the person registering the personal data is not the firm’s representative whose personal data are registered, you will inform this representative about this privacy policy.

This personal data is processed to provide offers, process orders and allow us to deal with your requests.

3.2. When registered as a Member you will be asked to give your consent to us for processing of the personal data for market research and customer satisfaction purposes or for the development of services/products, where appropriate involving third parties.

Sending newsletters to you electronically and/or by post (‘Newsletter’) and other marketing information on new services/products, promotions and benefits, etc.

For this processing, you will always be entitled to unsubscribe via email or contact us.

Transfer of personal data

For the supply of certain services/products, we reserve the right to transfer your personal data to our Partners.

Your data will not be transferred to organisations outside the European Union.

Furthermore, and where you have expressly consented to this, we may pass your personal data to our contracted service providers who are offering services or products likely to be of interest to you.

Duration

Your data will be saved for as long it is needed for its purposes mentioned in article 3 and in compliance with the GDPR.

We undertake to keep your personal data confidential.

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure and to be able to demonstrate that processing is performed in accordance with GDPR, a.o. security procedures aimed to avoid any loss, abuse or alteration to this personal data).

All personal data are processed on our server in the European Union/Frankfurt (Germany).

Right of access, correction, deletion, objection and data portability

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase any data concerning you. You also have the right to object to its processing, within the limits of the legislation. You have the right to receive personal data and to transmit them directly from one controller to another.

2. Or, if applicable, by going to your account on the MILTA website(s).

You also have the option of receiving no further newsletters and other marketing information by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link appearing on each communication. When you exercise your right to oppose receiving direct marketing, this objection only applies to the e-mail address given. In case you receive advertisements on more than one e-mail address, you will have to unsubscribe as many times. In the case that you unsubscribe per letter, it is important to clearly mention all e-mail address to be deactivated.
